The Institute of Grinding and Precison Technology, KSF, officially founded in January 2001 at Hochschule Furtwangen University as part of the institute of applied research under the management and the engagement by Prof. Tawakoli. The laboratory of the KSF are in the old Steinel building in Villingen-Schwenningen. At the moment 10 scientists and several students work in the centre. Only half a place is financed by the University. The other employees are financed by industrial projects.

  • event of seminars
  • continuing studies and seminars for industry customers

  • international contacts and cooperation with other research institutes worldwide
  • literature search for industrial partners
